Item 8.01 Other Events.

On November 4, 2019, CalAmp Corp. (the “Company”), in a privately negotiated transaction, repurchased $10 million in aggregate principal amount of its 1.625% Convertible Senior Notes due in May 2020 (the “Notes”). This follows the Company’s October 24, 2019 repurchase of $84.9 million in aggregate principal amount of the Notes. The repurchase was completed with cash on hand, and following the closing, approximately $27.6 million in aggregate principal amount of Notes will remain outstanding as current debt.
