Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces that on 29 September 2016, Mr Gary Green a PDMR and Group Chief Operating Officer, North America, sold 100,000 ordinary shares in the Company at a price of £14.983303 per share.

Following this transaction, Mr Green holds 265,819 shares, representing 0.016% of the Company's issued share capital (excluding treasury shares).
