Submission of a letter of intent to participate in the final bidding process

for Hyundai Securities

On March 25, 2016, KB Financial Group Inc. (“KB Financial Group”) disclosed that it has submitted a letter of intent to participate in the final bidding process to acquire Hyundai Securities Co., Ltd. KB Financial Group expects to make further disclosures in the event of further developments in the process, including the selection of the preferred bidder.
