ITEM 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b)    On January 2, 2019, Gregory L. Nelson, Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Ameren Corporation (the “Company”), notified the Company of his intention to retire effective August 1, 2019, after over 23 years of service.

 

ITEM 8.01

Other Events.

As part of the Company’s long-term succession planning process, Chonda J. Nwamu will succeed Mr. Nelson as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, effective upon Mr. Nelson’s retirement. Ms. Nwamu, who currently serves as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, has also been promoted to Senior Vice President and Deputy General Counsel, effective January 16, 2019.
